Reverend Andrew Nieckarz the ViAia+i of a jUift gm£ Vihsvani GltAjAiia+i The priest like another Moses leads his people to a land of new vision, that of the Promised Land, that of a life with a new closeness to Christ and to apostolic times through a revival of the early Christian liturgy. He serves as a guide and an interpreter of the significance of the ancient ceremonies in the daily life of modern Christians. The Church, as if anticipating the second coming of Christ, is leading her children to a closer union with Christ by every possible means, even the restoration of the early liturgy. The priest serves as the link between the Church and her children. He holds the vision of eternal life before them to inspire them ever to a closer imitation of Him Who is the Beatific Vision. EMPHASIS ON YOUTH was the theme of the Catholic Youth Week assembly sponsored by Seniors Ronald Gurdak, Richard Mroc ek. Anthony Wieczorek. Walter Gozdor. Richard Marck. Robert Misko, Suzan Toraaszcwski. chairman; Lorraine Skibinski. Jane Pydvnkowski, Christine Kopkowski. Out of the mouth of the Mother of God, . . . I call the muster of . . . men . . . To break and be broken, God knows when, But I have seen for whom. And this is the word of Mary, The word of the world's desire: ’No more of comfort shall ye get, Save that the sky grows darker yet And the sea rises higher’. But out of the mouth of the Mother of God I have seen the truth like fire. This—that the sky grows darker yet And the sea rises higher. With velvet finger, velvet foot, The fierce soft mosses then Crept on the large white commonweal . . . With little care for the Thames Valley Or what things there might be— The Mother of God goes over them, On dreadful cherubs borne; And the psalm is roaring about the rune. And the Cross goes over the sun and moon. eight •G. K. Chesterton. The llnllad of (hr While Hone Bks. VII. II. VIII
