L- TI-IEY'BE AT THE HALF Approximately sixty sophomores breathe a sigh of satisfaction as they reach the half . . . a touchdown or two to the good. WVith the humiliation of initiation and the lowliness ol' their freshman status completely for- gotten, they recall only the distinction of being the iirst class to occupy the remodelled auditorium, and ol' having sponsored the 'Abest and big- gest frolic ever held at St. Justinls. As freshmen they defeated the entire high school in the Spelling Bee and Walked off with all three prizes! So much for their first quarter. The second period of the game started off with a bang ,mid the protesting Ugobblesv ol' a live turkey and the dis- tracting odors of the Laboratory homeroom! Editors of the most inter- esting edition of the mlrzsl-iii,-Rewiezu, collectors of periodicals lor the soldiers, distributors of pamphlets, supporters of every project spon- sored in the school, these loyal sophs have an enviable record. As mem- bers of Student Council, their representatives proposed many worth- while measures. Among the Sophs are numbered football and basketball stars, choir members, glee club choristers, and a varsity debater.
