SOCCER Saint Joseph's College again completed a successful soccer season, culminating in a 2-0 shutout victory over NCAA representative Temple. After a slow start which saw two defeats in the first five games, the offense reached its pre-season potential, and the team went undefeated through its last eight games. The defense led the way for Coach Jack Dunn's club, while setting a new school record of eight shutouts with Dave Owsik in the nets. The offense was led by fleet-footed Jerry Benetatos, an All-M.A.C. selection, who scored nine goals, and Dave Lenhart, who tallied eight. Individual honors were garnered by Tom Mulholland and Jack Ruggero, who were selected as All-Americans. t r,,.. r--H-J PV!
