A poor defense and a lack of clutch hitting handicapped the team from the start Of the season and thus was responsible for their poor record. Coach 1'Pep Young was well pleased with the line performance of Captain, loe HomYCfkf the teams only senior. Ioe thrilled the Hawk fans with his brilliant plays at shortstoP cmd also led the team in hitting. To Captain Ioe Homyak and the two senior managers Lud zur Nieden and loe MulcahYf we the seniors ot St. Ioseph's College give thanks for a job well done.
