Our Pri1icipal's Message Our Principal arid Faculty Sister M. Evarista Dear Graduates, This year of 1955 is your turn to say Farewell,' to your Alma Mater. You have been singularly blessed with a good Catholic Education which no human power can take from you. You are well fortified and exceptionally prepared to carry on successfully your mission of life whither-so-ever it may carry you. Like the Crusaders of old, who Went forth to conquer the Holy Land with the sword in one hand and the cross, the emblem of their salvation, in the other, so too, do you go forth through the portals of your school out into the busy avenues of life bearing the principles of education and the high ideals of religion in one hand, and your diploma, the emblem of success, in the other,-true soldiers of fortune indeed. going forth, in quest of cherished laurels of the business world. May you go forth then with the resolve that you will be faithful to the instructions received here during your school days, and in this way show honor to those for whose care and training you are grateful. In times of doubt, a mariner on the sea keeps his eye fixed on a guiding star. May you, too, when doubt or temptation comes, raise your hearts to Our Mother in Heaven, Our Star of Hope. May She ever keep Her protecting mantle of blue around the Class of 1955, until you behold Her and Her Divine Son, Face to Face on the Great Commencement Day.
