0 We, the seniors of 1950, hope we have prepared a book that includes all that has been significant to us in our four years at Saint Ioseph'sf in as much as it is here we have passed some of the happiest days of our lives. Conse- quently in the future when we open this yearbook, the happy days spent will be relived. Let us hope that this record of our deeds does not represent mere pages, words, and pictures, but the things we have done and desire to remember. Among these events we wish to recollect are: The death of our beloved Monsignor Keyes, the assignment of Father Connor to our parish, the new members of the faculty in our last year, the triumphs and losses of our teams, the acquisition of football, and all the other details whether large or small which keep Saint Ioseph's close to our hearts. We also wish to recall the education we received here which has satisfied our mental, physical, and spiritual needs. This education in the doctrines of Catholicism is of tremendous necessity in these times when Communism is running rampant throughout the world. Therefore, we wish to thank our pastor, our priests, principal, and the faculty both past and present for the many things they have done in order to 'prepare us to face the world with faith and confidence.
