The dinner, served in the Monogram room at the Joyce ACC gave couples a chance to see everyone before they hit the dance floor. Friends socialized by candlelight in the dining room which was filled with excitement eind a sence of unity. The spec- tacular decorations certainly en- haced the atmosphere and made it a fine dinning experience After people finished thier desserts (and the inter-table sug- ar cube fight), the couples drift- ed into the concourse where blue and silver balloons and me- tallic streamers decorated the Get a little bit lower now; Brother Bob gets down to the Beatles on the dance floor. dance floor and the band. This End Up once again provided the music. There were enough cou- ples there to create a feeling of friendship and unity which pre- vailed throughout the evening. This feeling was evident toward the end of the night when a chain of a few people soon in- cluded every person on the dance floor. Junior Kiernan Cressy said, I was really pleased with how it all came to- gether after all of the work we put into it. Melt with you by Modern English was this year ' s theme song. Seniors ' last day of school. Last bell begins to ring. Halls resonate with excited and re- lieved high school graduates dressed in shaving cream. Well, not quite yet. Before the elated ones could genuinely be called graduates, three more ob- stacles had to be endured: grad- uation rehearsal, baccalaureate mass, and graduation itself. As customary, seniors rehearsed with moderator Brother Bob at the ACC. But there was a twist — every senior whether big or small, dumb or smart, received a coupon for a chicken sandwich compliments of a regional fast food store. With one ocean crossed, Two more obstacles remained to taunt the high school kids . Next was Baccalaureate Mass. During the long hours previous to the mass, most seniors calmed their anticipation by par- tying. Those who were true to Finishing their anticipation, stayed home sitting on the edges of their seats staring at a spot on the wall with wide eyed looks of imminent death (or is it life?).
