As in the past year, St. Joe has been an ever changing community. Not only has there been a change in teachers, but also in the actual building. Some of these changes are the remodeling of the cafeteria, which includes a new floor and ceiling, the addition of more computers, and the remodelling of the newspaper office. Among these changes, however, some of the major differences are the addition of the bookstore which is managed by Mr. Larry Shead, the re-location of the business office, and to the teachers ' pleasure, the addition of a new teach- ers ' lounge. The bookstore is a change which is accepted well by the students because it gives them the opportunity to buy school essentials throughout the year. The theology department has been through many changes this year. The chapel has a new minister and teacher. Father Darryl Rybicki. Father Rybicki has also seen many changes since his arrival at St.Joe. For example, the re- arrangement of the chapel pews which allows more students to attend masses. Also, there has been a lot of effort to make the all school masses more beautiful with the addition of new furniture and decorations. Mrs. Tracy Sandman, as of this year, also has been appointed the position of or- ganizing the retreats. As a general rule, most changes re- quire readjustments, however, the stu- dents and faculty have found these re- cent changes at St. Joe make school life more convenient and enjoyable. Top.
