Drama and Highlighting The T961-62 school year vvas The in- troduction oT the Drama Study Club, moderated by Miss Sally Rosenheimer. AT its meetings, The club dis- cussed and read material connected with The thea- Ter, Thus, The study of modern actresses, acTors, and dramatics not only added to The members' enioy- ment, but also To Their acting ability. Expressing Themselves, club members presented a one act play, Sunday Costs Five Pesos, at Christ- mas, and a Three act play, Our Town, during The spring. While gaining Theatrical experience, club mem- bers goT a clear outlook on The use of costumes, make- up, props, and production management. Posters in The hallways supplied The St. Joseph's student with information Tor The coming weeks. Re- sponsible tor much of This service to school activities was The Art Club. With Miss Susan Eyerly guiding The club on its ar- tistic ways, The Art Club provided organized activi- Ties in which members expressed Their emotions. ln addition to sketching and painting, future artists stud- ied slides ot masterpieces and The lesser works, and received Technical advice from guest speakers. Through These aids, art club members learned of Their hobby or vocation and its relationship to The world around Them.
