The Wedding Feast of Cana Just another Jewish wedding! That's all that it was to most people, that wedding of Cana. Vet to the young bride and her groom it was one of the most important days of their lives. It was made even more memorable and pleasant by the presence of Jesus and Mary, the two most perfect creatures ever to live. Mary, while at Cana, established a social code which has remained unequaled and unchanged by time. Gentleness and simplicity of manner—kindness— thoughtfulness—qualities of Mary that can, if we will only apply them, make life more pleasant and enjoy- able for those with whom we associate at school, at home, or at play.
