-s., Student Council exchange day found students from St. Peters, St. Mary's and East Brunswick following a full schedule at St. ,l0scph's. Under the capable leadership of Student Council president, Walter Healey, the council has become an essential organization to the school and the administration. The council has established an Exec- utive Committee, consisting of the Presidents of each class division. The institution of weekly newsletters and the rewriting of the Con- stitution in which the duties of representatives were defined were only some of the tasks undertaken. The Student Council, however, has not neglected the social aspects of the students. Through the hard work of the Dance and Decora- tions Committees, the Council has been able to sponsor many suc- cessful dances, including a '4Mixer'7. The student council has achieved in a short time, a high status in the school and will remain as the voice of the student body in the future. 14 Mike Wagner, Student Council vicc-prcsiclcnt. addresses the students during the election rtunpuign. Students make their choice for the Student Council officers during the climax of the election. I27
