Shafer, Evelyn Pence, Lucille Johnson. eee FRESHMAN CLASS In the fall of 1932, ten graduates of the eighth grade, six boys and four girls entered S. J. H. S. as Freshmen. All ten little Freshies plucked together and decided that they would knuckle down and work very hard for a change. September 9 was the great day on which they merrily skipped into the classroom and greeted Sister M. Pascaline who is one of their teachers. She is very kind to all and for that reason all ten of them decided to do what they could to make life happy. Each one of these Freshies were initiated during October into the Booster Club of the school and they are striving and will strive to obey and uphold the rules during the rest of their time here so when the end of their school life dawns they may consider themselves, and be considered by others, a credit to their school.
