Social Studies ln our complex world of today, we feel a need tor a better under- standing of the peoples of other lands. ln the Social Studies de- partment are found the members of the Faculty who prepare the voters and rulers of tomorrow. The important social backgrounds of the world are presented from a thoroughly Christian viewpoint, so that the student may better understand the purpose ot his education, the reasons why peo- ple act as they do, and condi- tions which prompted their ac- tions. With the new school facili- ties, history and civics teachers are able to better present their subiects to the pupils.
