Is this guy excited to be here or what?!!! On Sunday an activity similar to Playfair was implemented. Group leaders and S.A. officers alike went out to the lake for some games with a twist. The purpose of these events was to encourage people to feel good about themselves in a group. There was plenty for the freshmen! ind Lisa Berube were in charge in leading this exercise. P E

Orientation lthough the freshmen arrive on campus before the up¬ perclassmen, there is plenty to keep them busy. They are oriented to St. Joe’s from an academic standpoint through tests and meetings with faculty advisers. Yet, their social side doesn’t suffer in the meantime. There is some sort of activity every evening for these freshmen to take part in. First, there was Playfair. It is safe to say that all who took part had a great time. Playfair is design¬ ed for those involved to get quickly acquainted with many people in a short period of time. One feels good about the group as a whole. An ice cream social and a mixer to follow were sponsored by the Student Association. Students were provided with all the ice cream that they could have wanted. Afterwards, a local D. J. tossed records to dance or listen to. Tim Campbell gets some physical support from some of the freshmen. P E Group leaders, S. A. officers, and R. A.s were on hand to help out and to g to know the freshmen.
