A Year Of Commitment The community of Saint Joseph ' s College has committed itself this year to the ideals of Catholic living and scholarship. The students have established an effective repre¬ sentative government in the Student Senate. The faculty have reaffirmed their ded¬ ication to Catholic education after an evaluation of the school as a liberal arts col¬ lege. With proposed residential co-education, the President ' s Seminars, and curricu¬ lum revision, the college has ventured into new dimensions of community growth. It is a record of these events, these commitments, and the total scope of life at Saint Joseph ' s that the 1968 PHASE offers. This volume is dedicated to the ideals which the college community has reaffirmed this year, and to those members of the com¬ munity, students, faculty, and administration, whose continuing faith and devotion to these ideals promises growth and improvement in all sectors of the college ' s activ¬ ities. Through the internal growth of Saint Joseph ' s, as these commitments are manifested in the conscientious actions of the community, the college will develop the complete person for the twentieth century. So PHASE dedicates this volume to the fulfillment of this commitment in years to come.

If time passed like rainy days, and if today there remains not a puddle trapped at the curb, and the ground is dry and the sky clear, you will wonder where the time went. Within we have enclosed one year. Find here the rooms and the halls where you once came looking for higher education and found it; find yourself and remember what you were thinking and what your struggles were, and remember the funny things that happened that you thought you wouldn ' t ever forget; find enclosed some famil¬ iar and some forgotten faces of people who shared with you one now-evaporated Saint Joseph ' s College year— ' 67- ' 68.
