The twelve Sisters at Collegeville, with Sister M. Francisca as directress, are members of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, whose rnotherhouse is located at Dayton, Ohio, a religious community of more than 700 Sisters. The Community is engaged in teaching and nursing in more than a dozen dioceses of this coun¬ try, and has the domestic management of six colleges and seminaries and five episcopal residences. To these good Sisters St. Joseph ' s is indebted for many years of self-sacrific¬ ing work in kitchen, dining rooms and laundry, and for their prayers for the welfare of the college.
