The Hays Flight of the Civil Air Patrol had 16 cadets from St. Joseph's, four from Hays High. Emphasis was placed on radio procedure this year, especially with the Walkie-talkie. The cadets attended a Search and Rescue operation at Great Bend and one local operation at Hya- cinth, Ks. Top: Refreshments were in order after the mission at Hyacinth. We Strut Our Stuff Parades and inspections are a part of mili- tary routine. Is it a holiday? There must be a parade. Have we a distinguished visitor? There must be an inspection and parade. The Crack Platoon Cabovel is in demand all over the state. The annual federal in- spection, right, under Col. Bullard, Col. Byars, and Capt. Wilmeth went off like clockwork. We won the honor inspection again in 1952.
