EIIICATIU OREMOST in the flood of abiding and never to be for- gotten memories that will follow us from the Prep, will be the warm memory of Mr. John A. Donahoe, steadfast friend and trusted confidant throughout our four years. We shall remember him for his sincere and cordial greeting, his constant humor, his never failing glow of kindliness, and for the warmth of his sincerity. From him, above all others, did we learn the value and the quality of honor, of courtesy, of fairness, and of sports- manship. The interest he showed in each and every one of us, his concern for our success, his desire for our happiness, moved deeply our feelings of affection and esteem. With his high ideals of justice and honesty he has become a shining example to all, In his deep understanding of boyish ways, he holds an enduring place in our hearts, In his devotion to the Prep, he is as one of us. In profound admiration then, and in due respect, do we the Class of nineteen hundred and forty-one inscribe our Year Book to him. Let it be a humble token of our appreci- ation to a man who has ever been . . . a friend.
