It is an opportunity for you to pa use, to take a moment to look back on what has transpired in your life since you entered St. Joseph's. ln doing this, you will be measuring yourself against what you were, identifying the ways you ha ve gained confidence, independence, and knowledge. You will also, no doubt, think of those who helped you reach your goal-your family, friends, and teachers. It won 't take much reflection to recall the tremendous amount of time and energy you have devoted to earning your bachelors degree. You ha ve worked hard and you ha ve sacriHced, and for this you have reason to celebrate. As I ha ve done in the past, I would like to extend a special thanks to Daniel Beni and Christina Gryziec who, together, have worked tirelessly to make the 1988 ACHIEVEMENTS our best yearbook ever. Sincerely, Mm Thomas G. Travis, Dean Division of General Studies
