For I am the spirit of Elizabeth Bayley Seton, the fruit of her laboreand her courage is my life. And I am a ray of the Mother of God, the lay of Her prayerSeand Her love is in my heart . . . I am Allegra, now a woman, Whose growth has been reflected in the natural surroundings of my Valley. Come, walk With me for the last time down well-worn paths and through familiar fields, undis- turbed but by rustling breezes and the movement of the trees. Reminisce With me as I see my girlhood and my womanhood mirrored in the things of Nature . . . + I am all the Student Princesses Who walk this hallowed land of my Queen. I am the young Princess who steps into this valley for the first time. I am the matured Princess Who bids farewell to the beautiful valley in order that I may take to those outside my kingdom the knowledge, the friendship, and the love that I have discovered here.
