We shall miss it most of all. There is not a spot E E so calm, so enticing, nor yet so beautiful as S. A's orchard in the spring E S of the year, when the apple tree and the lilacs are in bloom and the earth gg sends forth its brightest green. What a story the terrace could tell, too, of E the girls who have trodden its ,paths-forbidden! The weeping willows S pvelrshadowing the terrace, are, indeed, symbolic of our feelings as we depart 53 IQ in une. E lg Ah, and there is the Mississippi with its smooth, blue waters as they E ripple to the sea! It is the enhancement of all the other beauties. The sun, E as we see it, rising on the waters is a picture that no artist can paint. E Will these things be easy to forget? It is doubtful. Perhaps, as we lg gradually get used to our new home and find other pleasures and enjoyments, E and other beautiful spots-for little birdies tell us that the landscape gardeners E E will do their best, and perhaps there will be a .sunken garden in place of our x E lxlacs and apple tree-but there will forever linger in our hearts a fond re- E Ei membraincedog the spot, where we wove our childhood fancies, and dreamed EJ' E: our gxr oo reams.
