Football awards and speeches such as head coach Mr. Regina's highlighted the annual football banquet at the Wonderbar IDecem- ber 81 DECEMBER MARKS THE APEX OF ACTIVITIES. December was a hectic month of activities. It got under way with a Saint Louis night which treated the school musicians and athletes to hot dogs, ice cream and games at the St. ,lean Baptiste Hall. A week later the entire student body was con- secrated to Mary on the eve of her Immaculate Conception. The following night, at the Wonder- bar, the annual footbal banquet was held. The third week of December saw the glee club join the band in presenting its annual Christmas Concert. Rest Assuredf' this year's Senior Play, sparkled with life on December 17. Oratory followed drama. Members of the speech class delivered orations on the Constitution of the U.S. before the Christmas vacation began. During the holidays the girls' Sodality presented a Christmas skit and distributed baskets to the needy. ln contrast January re- affirmed studies, exams and regular school life. The smile of victory beams on Roger Painchaud who won not only the school award but also the county runner-up prize in the American Legion Oratorical Contest.
