Jeannine Roohefort. places a crown on our Blessed Mother in an impressive veremony in the month of Mary. 62 :Q Under the protection of their Heavenly Mother. the Sodalists strive to build their spiritual life. In their weekly meetings, the members are encouraged to more frequent communion, trained for various types of prayer, and given the means to develop their own personal virtues. No Sodality is a success unless it be engaged in the lay apostolate -it is therefore a duty of each mem- ber to participate in charitable and apostolic work within their milieu. To carry out such a program the Sodalists taught catechism to pre-school children. dis- tributed food baskets to needy families of the parish. organized the Coronation of their Heavenly Queen for the entire student body, and engaged themselves in promoting better attitudes towards marriage and fam- ily life.
