de Zend Although this year's edition of the BAND was slightly smaller than it has been the last few years, in no respect was it inferior to its predecessors. Brother Roland saw to that by establishing an extra rehearsal on Thursday evenings. He also used the third period to audition each section and cope with its particular troubles. The excellent musicianship displayed at the annual concerts was the happy outcome of assiduity to general rehearsals and unflagging individual practice. The snappy marches that enlivened games, assemblies, and banquets were mark- ed with precision and rare gusto. The school is certainly proud to have such a colorful unit to show before the public in all the parades and music festivals. May numerous young musicians come to fill the ranks that will be left empty after this June's graduation! The SENIOR section: QL. to RJ James Hebert, Ralph Beaudoin, Nor- mand Simard, Paul Labonte, Richard Auger, Gerald Perreault, Bernard St. Pierre, Roger Morin, Roger Verrier. Band Director, Brother Roland, dur- ing intermission time.

N. Brunelle admiring staff artist and editor, G. Asselin, hard at work Z 544441 Information, spiritual counsels, advice for students, news about activities past and future--these are the contents of a well-edited school paper. We may be proud of our bi-weekly news publication for it possesses all these qualities. Under the wise direction of Brother Richard, Principal, and with the diligent help of Brother Bernard, this paper took on an attractive form. Let us hope that in future years the school may continue to possess such an engaging news- sheet which certainly would rank foremost among others of its kind.
