On September 5, 1951 we, the Fresh- men, stepped forward into High-School life where the warmth and friendliness of the welcome given us by our new teach- ers and the upperclassmen quickly dispell- ed the fears and bewildered misgivings that we felt. What a dreadful experience lay before us! As we look back it is easy to see that these were needless fears. We fully realize that four long years of difficult work were ahead, so we lost no time in trying to adjust ourselves to our new and pleasant environment. In those early days, we began to realize that we were now responsible for our education and for the upholding of the ideals and traditions of our school. Little by little, the days have gone by and with them the trying and depressing moments of examinations. Every day we strove to reach our goal of success. It has not been too difficult because our teachers worked hard and succeeded in presenting the studies to us in a most in- teresting manner. The Seniors are bidding farewell to their Alma Mater, We are happy to see that in June 1952 they have reached with honor the goal which they entered upon four years ago, but it is also with some sorrow that we see them depart for we did look up to these dignified Seniors as friends in need. To all we wish success in their future career. As we step up into the Sophomore year, we have visions of another success- ful year in our school. We are proud of our class and its achievements and hope ST.
