The first familiar face we see is that of NAN FETTIG. Re- member the contest they had for a mate for Boris Karloff? lVell, Nan won: Boris, 525000, and a movie career! Be sure to see their latest picture, Dracula and Wife in lVIarried Strifef' Next we come to BETTY PARR. Her fame is known throughout the country. She took over Fred Astaire's Dancing Stu- dios and you'll see her slogan on billboards everywhere: If in lllflflfillfl you 7011111 to go far Take ten easy 112550115 from Berry Parr- Take twelve IIIIII ynzflf be bffffff 1111111 ZU6' 111'1'. Then we have QUINT RENIE, who was touched by fame in the wrong way. Quint is just about to take- a lovely trip up the river. He claims burning down Fettigls Canning Factory was jus- tifiable because Fettig's stole his ketch-up recipe, 'Devills Desire'3 but the Judge said, Arson. Fifteen years. Now we come to SALLY HIRSCH. Sally became a concert pianist but her career ended suddenly when she played with the Philharmonic Qrchestra in Carnegie Hall Cshe was playing the Twelfth Street Rag, and they were playing a sequence from the opera Carmen. l She is now traveling with Jimmy Durante, sing- ing l'm Feeling flrliglziy Lofwfj But it was SHIRLEY JOHN who really hit the Big Time. She's really in the money. Why', she made 1220 the other night Ccleaning up Duffey's Tavernl and on top of that she found that missing room. You'll be hearing her commercial on all radio stations: .15. I 0
