Under the adept leadership of Mr. Roswell, the Intramural Bowling league made great progress this past year. Some thir- ty students actively supported this activity. Its purpose was to combine a school-sponsored program with an athletic activi- ty. To the surprise of no one, it worked out quite well. The competition was keen and the final standing proves this. The leader as the final week of the season rolled around was the team composed of Greg Miller, Bob O'Connel, and Rich Lisz- ewski. Other standout performers in the league were Rodney Whaley, John Byrne, Charles Coleman, and John CriHin. 46 ifwlfffxfw fa--1 65212-2 isssisfit 12, ,f ' Qi-- im? msgs L- 2:4 !if,Qli5Q'lf K EW-5 Q -, Q1 if lf',2'si'e 'x5,q?s'5?'Sj3' J 'J'4ifEffeav5f 112331252-5 mi,.11mff zzgmsg' ffl

Mostly through the efforts of its members, it has built up its supply of guns and all other necessary equipment. Brother Talbot, the head of the Rifle Club, has moved the riHe range from the close confines of the school basement to more spacious surroundings in a well lighted garage. Here the mem- bers compete to see who will represent the school in match play. Another brilliant idea initiated by Brother Talbot is the annual Turkey Shoot, which helps the club defray its expenses. 45
