From its humble beginnings five years ago. the Glee Club now numbers over thirty members. a valid cross-section of the sehool's student body. The increased interest is due in part to the inher- ent desire to express oneself both vocally and ar- tistically. A more important reason for its growth. however. is the effort expended by its instructor and moderator. Mr. Peter Miraglia. The Glee Club's latest venture, the production of Bye Bye Birdie, will be presented during the spring. too late to appear in this edition of Aegis.

Math League, now in its third year of existence, has become one of the popular ac- tivities in the school. S.J.R. is the only Catholic school holding membership in the Bergen County Interscholastic Math League. The team competes in several meets each year. Every meet consists of several problems with varying time limits. Mr. Roswell moderates the Math League with the purpose of maintaining the interest of math- minded students in their Held of ability.
