My Brothers, Another year has come and gone, and we are all a little older and a little wiser - older and wiser, not only physical- ly and mentally, but spiritually, Ihope! We have all tried to live in a brother- hood of love and have found that it works. It may have its rough points, but the re- wards are great. As this year began, some of us had our doubts about 'its success. We wanted unity within and among our classes but we weren't quite sure how to accomplish this. Our desire to be one made our dream a reality Now we must build upon this brotherhood by continually growing in love for one another for it was brotherhood that kept St. Joseph's alive this year. It is the student's duty to see that this brotherhood is carried on from year to year I am confident that this tremendous spirit of love will never fail: for I have seen how good it is, how pleasant, to live as one like brothers and I'm sure you have too. Shalom, Charles Fornal, Student Council President LEFT TO RIGHT: President, Frank Mosko: Historian, Dean Borgmeyer. Vice-President, Dave Haney: Secretary, Dean Naegele.

Wifi, 'Civ as 23525 -:-Zta. Q. Dear Graduates, On behalf of every member of the faculty and staff of St. Joseph's, Iwould like to say Congratulations and thank you. Congratulations on a job well done. You came here seeking Christ and His will. While we cannot say that the job is completed, you give every indication that you have made significant progress, The road ahead is still long and the goal still distant, but you already have proven that you have the courage, the generosity and the determination to reach that sacred goal. All of you came to find out whether or not you were being called to the priesthood of Jesus Christ. Many of you will continue that search in the seminary. Others have discovered that Christ is calling them to serve Him in other ways. All of you are better Christians because of your training here and that is what really counts. You can all go forward with the confidence that you have the best academic and spiritual preparation possible in facing life and its challenges. Thank you for what you have given to St. Joseph's. A community is only as good as its leadership and its spirit. It can truly be said that the graduating class of 1969 has given leadership to the rest of the school. In fact, your leadership, both as a class and asindividuals, has helped to create a spirit of love and brotherhood in this com- munity. Your spirit of generosity and willingness has been outstanding. For all this, we are grateful to you. We all wish for each of you every success and happiness in life. It is a confident wish because we know that you are capable and well-prepared to be leaders in bringing the world closer to Christ. We trust that you will be back often to visit us. Sincerely in Christ, Very Rev. Bernard W. Schmitt Rector SW i f X 2 X
