Ranging from formal affairs to an evening in the fifties, dances provide music and merriment for all. Another way is offer hot lunch. With the smell of food, everyone came running. A definite crowd-catcher is a fashion show. Dazzling clothes and attractive models all contributed to the success of the Spring Fashion Show. Say It With Spirit! ay ¥ What's red and white and blue all over? You guessed it - Spirit Week. Not only is it the most exciting activity of the year, it is the one that requires the most preparation and cooperation. T his year the competition was so close that Honorable Mentions were given to each division. But only one class received the overall spirit trophy. Disappointed Seniors accepted fourth place with the Junior class following up with third. Sophomore class silently took second while the victorious Freshmen enthusiastically captured first. Stude: Po. For four full days the students and teachers of St. Joe’s and Notre Dame forgot the pressures of school and launched into mini-week. With the wide variety of courses offered, the students had a chance to go places and enjoy new experiences not usually found in the regular school curriculum. Although this was the first year for mini-courses at SJ, they offered such subjects as Court Cases and American Film Heroes. At ND, courses ranged from Ice Skating to Marine Biology. At the end of the week the students were ready to return to the daily life of school. ATHLETIGS WLHPELIC? Shouts Heard Round the World The Blue-and-Orange strikes again!
