Senior Paul New- some submitted the design for this cover. This year's VIKING is the product of long hours of planning during the summer and many Sunday afternoons at school. The book is divided into four sections: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. The 1973 VIKlNG'S design is similar to that of a calender. There are no sports or activities sections. A cry that is part of the lives of many people. For the past twenty-three years, students have made Saint Joseph High School number one in every respect. The Saint Joseph student creates an image that combines pride, spirit and love of God. A simple man once said, Love thy neighbor as thyself for the love of God. No other single statement could better describe the feeling of unity between our students. A feeling that makes us accept one another, good or bad, for what we are. A feeling that stays inside us for many, many years after graduation. A feeling that is an important part of our lives.
