Although new to St. Joseph's this year, Father Bedel immediately gained the students, conidence. To him is attributed the excellent school spirit and the efficiency of the ad- ministration. o VICE-PRINCIPAL Bro. John H. Strickroth, S.lVl. Brother John has been Assistant Principal for the past two years. Due to his sympathetic insight in the problems of youth, he is very popular with the student body. The faculty of Saint Joseph High School is composed of men dedicated in mind and spirit to the furthering of Christian education. In this sense they are apostles, for it was the duty of the first Christian teachers to'go forth and teach all nations. As teachers they have sacrificed much of the leisure and material reward that is a part of other occupations. But as the Apostles, their reward comes in the satisfaction of knowing that they are instruments of the Great Teacher. Although the subjects that they teach range from religion to physics, the teachers are similar in that they have all devoted their careers to the education of Christian youth.
