Kohmescher, S.M., chaplain, religion in- structor, and guidance director. Besides confes- sions and other spiritual functions, his duties as chaplain include directing the Sodality. Father Kohmescher teaches religion and gives occupa- tional guidance. Froni the looks of things there seems to he a deal in the making, probably something to do with finances Brother Herman J. Thaner, treasurer and one of the pioneers at St. Joseph High School. He has been a Marianist for over 40 years, spending half of them as treasurer at Cathedral Latin, prior to the opening of St. Joseph in the fall of 1950. In addition to his financial duties Brother Thaner teaches Algebra and inspires the activi- ties of the Dad's Club. 0 lil ' s i 15

Assis tant Principal Brother Louis Weber, S.M.,our Assistant Principal besides being Father Louis VViesner's right hand man, is also Registrar, Art Instructor and ad- visor of the Vikings. His work is not through in June as most people believe, for during the summer his registrar position keeps him hopping with the scheduling of each boy and teacher for the coming September. Brother Weber came to Saint Joseph in 1950 as one of the six pioneer instructors appointed to establish our school. Hrs. Kuhlnian, chanipion bowler, tells Dick Gunn Gcc!
