Top Picture: An unidentified Holy ball carrier is about to be tackled by a trio of St. Joseph Bulldogs, Chuck Pfeifer f21l, Garry Aranda f60l, and David Ivarson f20l, who see that it is a lost cause. Final score was Holy Family 54+-St. Joseph' 6. Alfred Lucero f52j attemps a run around left end as Richard Marillo f64j, Manuel Sansburn, and David lvarson C205 set up a block for him in the game against Holy Family. The snow and slush was a great disadvantage to both teams.

Season Brings One Victory 1- if v llfr Q by The 1961 football season was very unsuccessful for the Nil ' hard fighting Bulldogs. We opened the season against Annunciation, but ended up on the short end of a 27-0 score. On our second encounter, We were smothered 4147-0 by the mighty Regis Raiders. Our first touchdown of the season came against St. Francis. Richard Marillo ran an 80 yard kick-off return for a tally, however, we were de- feated 27-6 by the Gremlin team and Holy Family, our homecoming rival, beat us by a score of 54-6. Our bright spot of the season was the game with Mt. Carmel. Paul Christensen threw two touchdown passes and a conversion that enabled us to slip past the Eagles, 13-12. St. Marys, Mullen, Cathedral, and Machebeuf, also proved too much for us. Scores for those games were as follows: St. Mary 32-0, Mullen 40-0, Cathedral 19-6, and Machebeuf 18-6. C '7a fx Jerry Powell 1735 stops Larry Nichols of Cathedral in his tracks as I im Cassidy C751 and Tom Clark f55J come to assist.
