The debaters took third place ribbons at the Mullen debate meets. Right-William Convery, 1960 graduate of St. J oseph, is the debate coach. Lower right-Outstanding speech students who won ribbons and trophies at speech meets during the year are Michele 0'Connor, Kenny Decker, Judy Lynch, Frank Rino, Victor Avila, and Pat Lucero.
