Paul who was the first laugh . . the Est applause . . then the soft swish of a dark green curtain . . Dave standing on a ladder hammering at the scenery . . shaded red footlights . . Kate chattering about Johnie . . Cook, the tall slender exe- cutive WPC. who played the part of Ella Engle . . Joe who was the added attraction . . a little on the talkative side . .
