FATHER OTTING, e JUBILARIAN Tu es Sacerdos recalls the memorable occasion of April 1, 1933 in the Cathedral of St. Nicholes, Fribourg, Switzerland when the Bishop ordained our jubilarian a priest in the Society of Mary. Returning to America, Father celebrated his First Solemn High Mass August 20, 1933 in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, St. Louis, Missouri. During the twenty-five years of his priesthood. Father has been chaplain and teacher in the various schools of the Society of Mary. McBride High School, Chaminade College, and St. Mary ' s High School in the St. Louis area were home to Father for seven years. Another seven years were spent at Central Cathohc High School in San Antonio, and eleven years were devoted to the young men of St. Joseph ' s. It is our jubilee wish that the efforts you have put forth for the education of youth, the work of God and His Blessed Mother, may have fruition in bringing souls to the throne of God.
