Roguszka, Father Ben, as he is popularly known, has steered the course of St. Joseph High School. He reared it through the first critical years of its existence, he formulates its policies today. His courageous spirit in spite of difficulties, his constant solicitude over the welfare of the students at St. Joseph's, his willingness to in- corporate into the school curriculum anything that would open new avenues of culture or learn- ing, has won for him the love and admiration of the entire student body. It was his interest and generosity that made our social, athletic, and scholastic affairs possible. With deepest sentiments of gratitude we leave the portals of St. Joseph's carrying with us memories of his paternal interest in our ac- tivities and his wise words of counsel and encouragement when we felt like giving up the tough battle for ideals. 945 ig...- REV.
