ALL YE YOUTH, PRAISE THE LORD, LET THE NAME OF THE LORD BE PRAISEDI The goal of Christian education is the honor and praise of Almighty God through a life formed according to the mind of Christ. The life of a Christian student at St. Joseph High School is designed to become a hymn of praise to God, his Creator, His Redeemer, His Sanctifier. Beginning our day with Christ by participating in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and throughout the day applying His principles and teachings in every class, we slowly grow to know Him better and to love Him more. af we begin our hymn of praise when we are introduced I t to His omnipotent greatness and infinite goodness. Illlill S we sing the praises of the Creator as we study the - phenomena of the universe and the beauty of the human soul when filled with His life-giving grace. as our song grows richer, soars higher, as we learn of His Divine Wisdom and the power that is given us to live as militant members of the Mystical Body. S our chorus swells to a mighty crescendo when we ex- W. ,V plore the grandeur of His Infinite Love and life un- folds to us our plaoe in the mighty army of Christ's E soldiers in His Church, our Mother. v KS our life shall be a continuation of this hymn of praise as we take our place as adults in this army and there grow to the full stature of Christ. 6

DEDICATIO T0 A TEACHER A FRI D X We, seniors of 1955, cognizant of the debt of gratitude we owe to her who has been a friend a guide, and a counsellor during our four years at Saint Joseph, realize that no mere words can ever adequately express our love and appreciation. But our future can, inthe manner in which we realize the ideals inculcated through her administrations, be a tribute to her who has been our principal and teacher. Therefore, to you, Sister Mary Eligia,---who during our senior year, are keeping your Golden Jubilee Year, we dedicate the GOLD of our Annual, and we give you the promise of our fidelity and, loyalty in the BLUE.
