EDITCRAL OUR CHURCH Salnt Joseph s Church has played an 1mportar1t role ln our l1ves Though at t1mes, we may tend to take her for granted we truly appreclate the Church, and reallze how pertment and 1nfluent1al she has been 1n form1ng our l1ves We remember that she has been the s1te of almost all of our rel1g1ous 8CtlVltl6S and wh1le showerlng us w1th graces through the rltes and ceremonles of her Sacra ments, has prmted mdellble marks on our memorxes as well as on our souls She has enr1ched us w1th retreats and Holy Hours so that we m1ghtmamta1n a better splrltual outlook and a placxd soul When we have gone to her w1thd1straught or dlsturbmg thoughts, she has been both a refuge and a consolat1on Her serene atmosphere has always been conduclve to prayer and med1tat1on Thus has she helped us to form good hab1ts that we must practlce and cher1sh all our l1ves Conslderlng the Church m a much deeper sense we reallze that she IS dlrectly respons1ble for many other benef1ts of whlch we dally partake She has ordamed our pr1ests and though thelr admlmstratlon has umted our parents ln the bonds of Holy Matr1mony g1v1ng them the much needed graces and blessmgs to help them and us through l1fe She recelvedthe Vows of our Slsters who consecrate themselves to lead us even closer to God Thus we reallze and understand the magnammous role the Church has played 1n our l1ves We real1ze also, that we must put 1nto practlce the precepts and guldance she has glven She has labored w1th us and for us, leadmg us safely through th1s l1fe so that we may reach our fmal goal God R1chard Healy 9 . , . . . - 9 x . 7 . , . . 2 9 ' 9 .
