HISTORY OF OUR CLASS Starting out last September, we, the class of '55, elected our officers and became organized for the year. ln the back of our minds were the highlights of our sophomore and iunior years. As tenth graders we had been busy getting used to high school ways, listening for every hint that the upper classmen would drop. That was the year the St. Joe Bears brought home the State Champs' trophy and made us-oh! so proud. Eleventh grade found us well-established and eager to make an outstanding class showing. When we turned magazine salesmen and rang the community's doorbells, we broke all school records for sales. We used part of the money earned for the Junior-Senior Prom, Stairway to the Stars . That's something we'lI never forget. Our Senior year has offered more opportunity for class activities-selling magazines, present- ing our second class play, working on the Mazenblue, exchanging senior pictures, and ordering announcements. Ahead of us are the Senior Class Picnic, Baccalaureate, and finally Graduation-all of which make '55 truly a year to remember.
