ZHROUGH GALLANT sPoRTsMANsHlP To fulfill the purposes intended by God, the energies of the body must be developed to the utmost. When energy is channeled in the right direction through sports and similar activities, competition, sportmanship, and a sense of fairplay develop. Through these facilities, physical prowess results.

I By displaying SPIRIT MW W WWK Push-ups, jumpin' jacks, and sit-ups are a few of the many ways by which our team warms up for practice and games. The Bisons standing row by row are shown doing their invigorating exercises which are termed calisthenics. These calisthenics help the Bisons gain strength and agility so that The charging Bisons faltered again in their yearly attempt to outwit the pigskin as another football season passed into last- ing oblivion. Though the records will ever show seven losses and one win, few were the games that weren't played with spirit, vitality, and strength giving any sport fan a game worth the price of a ticket. With a small squad and a limited number of substitutes, the Bisons won many third quarters, but faltered in the last period because of a tired line and arm-sore backs. Much pigskin-in-the-plays, better known as the Sherlock-to-Branco-to-goal pass, played wifi llbg they may be physically fit in all their endeavors. After the exercises are over, the gridsters go through passing, kicking, and blocking drills and then dash on to the field to lead the Bisons on to a victory. a predominant part in each game, while the tacklers dug in and the guards pulled out making it all possible. Though the backfield will ever claim praise and headlines, the linemen have proven themselves unsung heroes. When the occasion arrived, the loyal eleven unsung heroes with one motto, Hold that line held back strong opponents that were too close for comfort. The season is over, the uniforms and equipment are stacked away, but the echoes are still heard crying, Wait till next year.
