By cultivating a love of truth, justice, and charity, the students will judge ambition and idealism by wisdom and knowledge. Through such func- tions as the Student Council, clubs, assemblies, and publi- cations staffs, the students receive the opportunity to present ideas thus gaining the.quality of leadership and the responsibility of citizenship. High school friends are bases of lifetime friends, and the principles acquired in youth are those employed in later years. Begun in the freshman year, a friendship toward the school and teachers is established and nur- tured, until in the senior year, an invisible bond unites the students with everything for which the school stands. The school ring, as a symbol of loyalty, is an outward mani- festation of the intrinsic love which binds students and alumni to their Alma Mater. The Rev. This ideal includes the education of man in mind, body and soul, To further these ideals, several factors must be em- ployed. Man must study, intend the good, reason how to attain it, and follow the dictates of his conscience. In this way, he utilizes what he has learned not only to improve his community, but to ameliorate his own behavior and attitudes. The Rev.
