.W vis' yd Remembering the less fortunate is a vital part oi celebrating Christmas. The members of the Civics Club practice what they preach by conducting a program for the aged at St. Mary's Home each year at Christmas. Richard Pawlak, club president: Christine Haiduk, and Rosemarie Rogulski present a fruit basket and novelties in the form of miniature Christmas trees, 'I'he presentation preceded cr rendition ot carols and seasonal melodies by the club representatives. The residents look forward to the annual visit. Service to the community and the inculca- tion of sound Christian principles into the lives of men are the principal aims of the Civics Club. Comprised of seniors, the club strives toward achievement rather than personal motives. Highlighting the extensive list of human interest activities undertaken by the group are the program for the aged at St. Mary's Home in Haddonfield, the stamp drive for the missions, and a current affairs program. Under the direction ol Sister M. Louise the members aim at maintaining the standards set by previous members and at formulating new interests to guide future members. Spreading the cheer and good will of the holiday season, senior Civics Club members, Richard Pawlak and Helen Adamski chat with residents of St. Mary's Home during the group's annual Christmas program. if 3 Fa. at 4 ff'
