Anthony Zemrowski, moderator, ow an in gfernify Among the religious activities scheduled during the school year are the class rosary day and the annual retreat. The students have taken to heart the slogan, Pray the Rosary Daily. In their efforts to keep themselves free from the clutches of evil, they seek the aid of the Blessed Virgin. Conducted Daily at noon, the service provides a few minutes of solitude and refreshment in a busy day at school. Again, the students acquire a new store of grace and seek the solutions to many puzzling problems during the annual retreat conducted in the spring. During the three days of prayer and mortificatiorl, the students become aware of the spiritual aspects of life. They begin to realize the value of prayer and the sacraments in building praiseworthy personal traits. E S 0l 8UQl Patefuf Ring Day is a memorable event in the lives of the juniors. It is then that they are presented with the circlets symbolic of their loyalty to the school. The class ring is something special, some- thing long-awaited by the over-anxious juniors. It is a visible sign expressing their promotion into the ranks of the upperclassmen. It makes them mean something. For the juniors, Ring Day serves as a mile- stone in their journey through lite, reminding them that they have successfully achieved a goal. But it is also a forewarning, announc- ing the hard struggle which yet lies ahead of them. aww- it Af: 3 Ht? With this ring . . . The little gold band holds much meaning for these junior recipients, Dorothy Lambert, Marie Viscussi and Barbara Walinski. Presenting this symbol of loyalty to them is the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Arthur B.
