REGIONAL CHAMPS The Senior boys finished their season with a 32-5 record. They were runners-up in the UCA Invitational Tournament, 5-B North District Champions, and Class B North West Regional Champions. This was the third straight year they have won the District and Regional; and the seventh straight year they made it to the final 8 in the state. This year's seniors” had an amazing 38-2 record in Conference games in their 3 year career. Congratulations Seniors boys on a great season! •4 38 M0? B0TS 39 PROMT ROW W Robertson; M. Mayor; M. This year's team found themselves champions of the District and Northwest Regional for the second year in a row. They fell to Class B runnerup Weiner in the State tournament, but vowed to return next year as State Champs. It was heaven in 87, but it will be great in '88! Thanks girls. DISTRICT RUNNERS-UP The Junior boys finished their season with a record of 8- 13. They finished the season very strong and were District Runners-up to Nemo Vista. With a very young group, this team should have nothing but a good future ahead of them. Congratulations Junior boys for all your hard work and effort. 42 JM0K Glf(k§ FIRST ROW: K. Brorman. T. DISTRICT CHAMP The St. Joseph Junior girls team enjoyed a fine season, finishing with a record of 14-8. They won the Dardanelle Invitational Tournament, shared the Conference Championship with Sacred Heart and Mt. Vernon, and won the District Tournament. They are the only Junior girls team to ever win the Conference and District in the same year. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and pre-season goals were reached. Thanks for the great year. The Junior and Senior Cheerleaders started their year off by attending cheerleading camp at Louisiana Tech University at Ruston, Louisiana. Senior High won three gold superior and six blue superior ribbons, including one for the routine they brought to camp. Junior High won three gold superior, two blue superior, and five excellent ribbons. Both squads received a spirit stick. Besides the unexpected dorm guests (roaches) and a few trips to the local emergency room, everyone had a good time. The cheerleaders sponsored several fund raisers throughout the year including their annual pancake breakfast, a car wash, bake sale, bonfire dance, sweatshirt sale, and homecoming dance. In March the Senior High plus some spirited girls from the Junior High traveled with the basketball teams to Monticello for the Class B State Tournament. Laura Mabry sponsors the cheerleaders. 45 «et rnwiis 46 Wi«0OT6 wshtc 1986-87 AH Iff MAID OF HONOR: Tonya Mitchell ESCORTS: Ricky Kordsmeier Paul Moix QUEEN: Heather Harrison ESCORTS: Timmy Freyaldenhoven Matt Enderlin SENIOR MAID: Julie Bradley ESCORTS: Matt Moix Mark Briggler JUNIOR MAID: Kathleen Strack ESCORTS: Branson Pearce Brian Clendenin SOPHOMORE MAID: Camilla Nabholz ESCORTS: David Moix Matt Kordsmeier FRESHMAN MAID: Stephanie Strack ESCORTS: Chris O'Dwyer Wade Brorman 49 9 m. s «§ 52 SARAH NABHOLZ AND MATT ENDERUN MOST STUDIOUS Beverley Lock and Philip Martinez MOST ATHLETIC Heather Harrison and Timmy Freyaldenhoven BEST BULLDOG SPIRIT BEST DRESSED Eddie Webb and Julie Bradley Sarah Nabholz and Matt Enderlin S3 WP'S wp SCHOOL CLOWNS Terri Strozyk and Kevin O'Dwyer MOST TALENTED Thomas Hambuchen and Veronica Thessing 54 BIGGEST FLIRT Timmy Freyaldenhoven and Terri Strozyk BIGGEST MOUTH Richard Freyaldenhoven and Liz Woodson w MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED Bryan Bruich and Veronica Thessing FRIENDLIEST Eddie Webb and Lealonda Smith SENIORS: Sarah Nabholz, Secretary, Heather Harri- JUNIORS: Bernie Gunther, Vice-President, Mark son, Treasurer, Kevin O'Dwyer, Vice-President, Briggler, President, Traci Phillipp, Secretary, Susie Thomas Hambuchen, President Bradley, (not pictured) Treasurer SOPHOMORES: Matt Kordsmeier, Vice- President, Keane O'Neal, Sergeant-at-Arms, Eilish Reding, Secretary, Leigh Ann Roper, President, Camilla Nabholz, Treasurer EIGHTH GRADE: Stacy Welter, Vice-President, Rene Thines, President, Mandy Mayor, Secretary, Amy Snyder, Treasurer, Brian Robertson, Sergeant-at-Arms FRESHMEN: Stephanie Strack, President, Rebecca Seiter, Vice-President, Kenny Dayer, Secretary, Jason Lock, Sergeant-at-Arms, Robert Zeiler, Treasurer SEVENTH GRADE: Tracy Moix, President, Christy Strack, Vice-President, Jim Moix, Treasurer, Terri Ann Moix, Secretary 56 SENIORS Kevin O'Dwyer and Lealonda Smith SOPHOMORES Eilish Reding and Wade Brorman JUNIORS Karen Miller and Ricky Kordsmeier FRESHMAN Katherine Hambuchen and Chris Schaefers 57 EIGHTH GRADE Tim Luyet and Jennifer Strack SEVENTH GRADE Christy Strack and Jim Moix Stairway to Heaven ' was the theme of the 1986-87 Prom held on April 25. The tree was decorated with apples on which each senior's name was printed. The dance floor was decorated with balloons and a stairway to heaven. Tim Pike provided the music.
