JOSEPJ.....“ Principal s Message Arkansas and the United States both stand at the crossroads in education. We must make a decision on whether to stay on the same course or whether to change direction. We at St. Joseph must choose the path which leads toward excellence. We shall strive to make the most of our opportunities and talents. I am proud of my lifelong association with St. Joseph Church and School. I hope that you can look back on your school days with pride. I realize that some of the decisions which I've made haven't always been popular. I've always tried to make decisions which would benefit you the students. I know that at times it seems that things have been done to take away some of your short-term pleasures. I hope that someday you will be able to see that we were trying to look out for your long-term interest. I pray that God will guide you to an appreciation of what both your parents and teachers have tried to do for you. I hope that the pages of this yearbook will serve as a reminder of yoir of your days at St. Joseph. The Senior Class of 1986 proudly dedicates our yearbook to two wonderful teachers. First, we would like to thank Miss Smith, our sponsor. She is a very dedicated teacher and a special person. Through her time and effort she made this year memorable for us. She has been a friend while working with us on the float and while on the senior trip. We would also like to dedicate this yearbook to Mr. James, whose personality has helped bright- en our senior year. He has been a good friend to all of us and has been around when we needed him. We love you both and will always remember you. - SENIORS 1 Cecile Bello Mike Brorman Lisa Freyaldenhoven Scott Freyaldenhoven Christa Green SENIORS Andrew Lachowsky Joe Mayor Brenda Lipsmeyer Luke Moix Christy Hofherr Daryl Schaefers 0 Matt Schnebeien Anthony Strozyk Patty Tyler SENIORS Karyn Shamburger Vicki Thines Joey Simon Matt Troillet Stephen Velte Suzanne Zajac SENIOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS CECILE BELLO - Honor Roll 1,2,3,4; Who's Who 4; Senior Play 4; Honor Graduate 4; CVO 1,2,3; Key Club 3,4; Treasurer 3; Yearbook Staff 3; Eucharistic Minister 4; NHS 3,4; Drama Club 4; Forensics Club 4. Hopefully the yearbook will express some of the fun-filled moments spent at St. Joseph. As we look back at the years we spent at St. Joseph, we can appreciate the dedication and care of the faculty. But we also realize the value of the friendships made during the years. By being with classmates for 12 years, we became a special family. The tradition of academic excellence will continue as will the building of friendships. As long as the students and faculty continue to have spirit and work for excellence - the future is bound to be bright. Andrew Lachowsky and Christy Hofherr Editors CLUBS SAFETY COUNCIL TOP ROW: J.
