She has taught us the value of friendship and laughter in the short time she’s been here. It is for this reason we dedicate our yearbook to Mrs. Patsy Snyder. Mrs. Snyder is a native of Conway, and a 1970 graduate of our own St. Joseph High School. She attended the University of Central Arkansas where she received a B.S.E. in Elementary Special Educa- tion and Seventh and Eighth Grade Social Studies. Mrs. Snyder came to St. Joseph for the second time in the spring of 1982 to replace a teacher on maternity leave. Our first meeting with Mrs. Snyder was in the classroom — as a teacher. She was a special teacher because she too was learning while teaching. She has become a close friend throughout the past year and a half at St. Joseph. Mrs. Snyder, through your laughter and mischie- vious ways, you have made this year for us, the Seniors of 1983, memorable. It is only fitting then that we dedicate this book of memories to you. 3 Cynthia Ann Bates Pauline Marie Bello Susan Elaine Briggler 4 Maria Stella Miller Brent Todd Moix Jay Allen Moix 6 s E N I O R S John Charles Amos Moix Richard Michael Moix Michael Paul Nahlen Eric Lee Schichtl Brian Francis Schrekenhofer Russell Thomas Thessing Anthony Joseph Troillett Timothy Mark Tyler Katrina Marie Walsh Sarah Jane Webb Albert Joseph Worm Theresa Jean Wright co uj 2 — o CC co 1. The Senior Boys were runners-up in the district and regional tournaments. They concluded their season with a trip to the final rounds of the Class B State Tournament at Sulphur Rock. This was the seniors’ third trip to the finals in as many years. 36 SENIOR BOYS 37 SENIOR GIRLS STANDING: Coach Mourot; B. Gunther, M. Flack, Mgrs.; J. Brorman; J. Enderlin; B. Moix; M. Enderlin; J. Playing tough opponents with a greater height advantage was common place. This season saw the 100th win for the girls as they continued a winning tradition. This team man- aged some great wins over teams that continued into the state tourna- ment. The saying goes that 5B North is the toughest District in which to win. Thanks girls for a good season. 38 I I I SI 43 SJ 71 SJ 42 SJ 54 SJ 2 SJ 30 SJ SJ 1 51 SJ SJ 52 SJ SJ 42 53 SJ 40 SJ 65 SJ 50 SJ 35 SJ 41 SJ 53 SJ 49 SJ 31 SJ 34 SJ 34 SJ 36 SJ 37 SJ 68 SJ 47 SJ 50 SJ 58 SJ 43 SJ 42 Southside Wonderview Mt.
