Aureus Annus 1975-1976 Volume 13 St. Joseph High School Conway, Arkansas The Senior Class of 1976 proudly dedicates this yearbook to Mrs. Barbara Opitz. Throughout our years at St. Joseph High School she has fulfilled our hearts and minds with a deep inspiration that comes only as a result of giving a great part of herself to each student either on an educational basis or on a personal basis. Mrs. Opitz, a native of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, has obtained her BSE with a major in Business Education and a minor in English. She is presently working on her MSE in Business Education. She has proven her outstanding capabilities as a distinguished leader in various areas, several of which in- clude co-sponsor of the Junior and Senior High Cheerleaders, Pep Squad, and the Junior Class. Her determination and mo- tivation to St. Joseph's yearly activities have proven success- ful. Gaiety, noise, and sounds of student laughter seem to echo from the walls of her classroom when her smiling pre- sence is near. Mrs. Opitz's willingness when instructing her students can be compared to a brilliant star whose main pur- pose is to guide those students on the right path of education. Mrs. Opitz, because you have given a part of yourself to prepare us to take another step up the ladder of life, we praise you highly. We truly thank you for selecting our school as your school. 4 Together We Worked For The Best Ladder committee: B. Hegeman; S. Siebenmorgen, editor; Mrs. Hightower, sponsor; D. Jines, co-editor; B. To make our picture book unique we have combined old ideas with new ones. We hope that you will enjoy your annual, not only the first time that you look through it but every other time also.
