Mrs. Juanita Buckner (top left) is our librarian and advises both the Senior and Junior Library Guilds. She also teaches American History. Mr. Don Rosier (bottom right) teaches social studies to the junior and senior high students. He is sponsor of the Key Club and the senior class. All business classes are taught by Mrs. Barbara Opitz (bottom left). She co-sponsors the Junior and Senior High Cheerleaders, Pep Squad, and junior class. Mrs. Vicki Kelly (bottom left), Mrs. Vallerie Hightower (middle right), and Mrs. Helen Hodoway (top right) are the teachers of the English Department. Mrs. Kelly teaches jun- ior high English and the Creative Writing class. She co-spon- sors the Pep Squad, Junior and Senior High Cheerleaders, and the National Honor Society. The literary magazine YOUNG THOUGHTS and the eighth grade are also sponsored by Mrs. Kelly. She is also co-director of the Senior Play. Senior high English is taught by Mrs. Hightower. She is co-advisor of the Yearbook Staff, and co-sponsor of the junior class. Mrs. Hodoway teaches Reading in the junior high and elementary school. She also is co-sponsor of the seventh grade. % 7
